Love this house! Think it is the Carribean herritage. They do citrus, florals and especially sugar differently. Not like the vanilla and tonka that you know from European houses.
Miami (along with San Diego) is a great example. Opens with a natural, slightly 'dirty' citrus opening of lime. Reminds me of Terre de Hermes. Quickly backed up by coconut and sugarcane. But natural not synthetic. No sun lotion vibes. This remains until the drydown where it becomes a little powdery and classy. Never loud but good longevity. So, looking for a tropical sent that isn't to sweet, loud and playfull? But masculine, classy and with some restraint? Miami might be for you.
Thank you Petitparfums for making a sample possible. Much love!!
